EMAS

Safimet has voluntarily adhered to the European EMAS Regulation in order to implement a continuous improvement of its environmental performance and to publish an annually updated environmental statement. The environmental management system and the environmental statement are subject to the control of an external environmental verifier. As an EMAS certified company, Safimet publishes every year the environmental declaration. Safimet has obtained CoP and CoC certifications from the Responsible Jewelery Council in the most up-to-date editions.
With the CoP Certfication, in the context of the processing of precious metals, responsible practices from an ethical, social and environmental point of view in respect of human rights throughout the supply chain are promoted, requiring all stakeholders to share their intentions; At the same time, the CoC certification guarantees the company's ability to trace every metal from the entrance to the finished product. The metals affected by the CoC certification are gold, silver, palladium and rhodium.

ECOVADIS

Safimet has achieved the EcoVadis certification, earning the silver medal from one of the world's most renowned sustainability rating agencies. The EcoVadis certification is a system for evaluating companies' environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.Granted following an in-depth analysis based on globally recognized standards – including the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), UNGC (United Nations Global Compact), and ISO 26000 – the certification is awarded to companies that demonstrate outstanding performance across four key areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
