Safimet's new headquarters inaugurated: Work, Development and Environment: the company's watchwords for the next few years

The Mayor of Arezzo Ghinelli and the Councilor of the Tuscany Region Ceccarelli inaugurated the new Safimet spa plant in Arezzo; the company was founded in 2000 and, thanks to the twenty-year experience of the founding members, has established itself nationally and internationally, becoming one of the reference industries for the recovery of precious metals, the disposal of special waste and the production of salts for the galvanic industry.

The new plant, built thanks to an investment of approximately 25 million euros, is equipped with the most modern technologies in the field of atmospheric emissions and, in addition to offering better working conditions for its employees, has already activated the hiring of new people among specialized technical personnel, employees and workers.

With the new plant, the company has identified three strategic priorities that will guide business decisions in the coming years: development of the Arezzo area, work and maximum attention to the environmental impact of its actions.

The Work: with the new plant, in fact, the company will hire more than thirty new people, including specialized technical personnel, employees and production workers. Not to mention that the new plant guarantees better working conditions for its employees.

The Environment: the company, in recent years, has achieved important certifications which mainly concern the environmental impact; Emas, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and, since last February, the RJC (Responsible Jewelery Council) certification, thus adhering to Legislative Decree 231/01 on environmental damage and demonstrating a strong commitment to ethics and the rights of human beings and promoting transparent production processes at both a social and environmental level.

Finally, Development: with the opening of the new plant, the company relaunches its strength: the different skills of the shareholders and their complementarity abilities and professionalism that has led, in recent years, Safimet spa to establish itself nationally and internationally. Collaborating with industrial partners and customers all over the world (from the USA to North Africa passing through China and South East Asia and of course, in Europe).
