Safimet joins Fondazione Sviluppo Sostenibile

Following its acquisition of benefit corporation, Safimet furthers its commitment to sustainability and the environment by joining Fondazione Sviluppo Sostenibile.

The Foundation’s aim is the promotion of the green economy as a pillar for fair and sustainable development, involving the main sectors and stakeholders in the field.

“Safimet is the first Italian company in the recovery and purification of precious metals from industrial waste and the production of galvanisation minerals to join Fondazione Sviluppo Sostenibile”, say Livio Serradura, Martino Neri and Francesco Ricciardi of the Safimet board of directors; “and we’re also the only Arezzo company to become part of the group of businesses committed to combining economic development with environmental sustainability.”

Adherence to the Foundation allows continuous contact and exchange with other companies who invest in low-impact technologies and with national and European institutions regarding the new sector regulations.
